Levi’s, London: Copper Wall Hoarding with Buttons
For the grand opening of the flagship Levi’s store in London, we were commissioned to create a giant hoarding to cover the front of the store. But this was no ordinary hoarding, this was something very special.
We used 100 square metres of 0.8mm copper sheeting, machined into a patchwork effect with etched rivet detail. This was then riveted onto a stronger hoarding to create the appearance of patched fabric and the iconic bat wing logo design. We created the logo from solid copper with the bat wing covered with 75,000 Levi’s buttons! We then illuminated the pocket area with 2,000 colour-changing LED lights.
Towering above pedestrians at over 5.5 metres tall and 16 metres long, this jewel in the crown was a total show stopper!
